Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service to host Vegetable Production TourPosted on : May 15, 2017
Tyler, Texas — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Smith County will host a home and commercial vegetable production tour from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm on Wednesday, May 17th. Participants are to meet in the Walmart Supercenter parking lot (3820 Hwy 64 West, Tyler, Texas) before loading the vans. Please arrive early in order to pay and load as the tour will leave promptly at 9:00 am. Stops will include a commercial vegetable field and produce stand, a home vegetable garden, and small scale blackberry production. Cost is $15 with checks payable to the Leadership Advisory Board. Lunch and transportation will be provided. The seminar is sponsored by Smith County Farm Bureau and Texas Farm Credit.
