(Westringia fruticosa ‘Mundi’ PP24,042) Sometimes called ‘Mundi Coast Rosemary,’ this low spreading evergreen shrub grows 2′ high x 5′ wide. Its gray-green foliage resembles the herb rosemary, but they are not related. Mundi is not fragrant. It blooms profusely in the spring – white flowers bloom along the branches – can bloom nearly year-round in coastal areas. Tolerates wind and salt laden air. Drought tolerant – very cold hardy – into the low 20s. Origin: Australia. Full to partial sun – good drainage. Deer resistant. Does not need pruning, but can be pruned if you want a “hedge” look. Tolerates our humidity!
