Porlock Thyme Grilled Shrimp
2 tbsp Porlock Thyme
2 tsp Paprika
2 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Salt
� tsp Cayenne Pepper
3 tbsp Pecan Oil
2 lbs. Shrimp, shelled and deveined
Combine all ingredients except shrimp in large bowl or zip top bag making sure to mix thoroughly. Add shrimp and marinate for 30 minutes. Remove shrimp from marinade and discard marinade. Skewer shrimp and grill for about 4 to 6 minutes. Remove and serve warm.
Porlock Thyme Cookies
1 cup Butter, softened
2 cups Sugar
3 lg. Eggs
2 Tbsp. Buttermilk
1 � tsp. Vanilla
5 cups AP Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
4 Tbsp. Porlock Thyme leaves
2 Tbsp. Sugar
Into mixer with paddle, beat Butter until creamy. Slowly add Sugar and beat well. Add Eggs, Buttermilk, Vanilla and Thyme and beat well. Add Flour and Baking Powder together and add to the Sugar mixture. Beat well, cover and chill the mixture for at least 8 hours.
Roll dough to � in. thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut with cookie cutter and place 1 in. apart on lightly greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with Sugar and bake at 400 degrees for 7 to 8 min.
