Mexican Honeysuckle

mexicanhoneysuckle

(Justicia spicigera) This is one tough perennial that holds up to heat, cold, and drought once established. Grows to be about a 3’x3′ shrub — clusters of bright orange tubular blooms occur spring through fall & beyond. Evergreen even into the 20s! Hummingbirds & butterflies flock to it. Fairly deer resistant.
