If you want butterflies and bees then you want Late Boneset. This US native grows in sun to part sun, to part shade. Blooms white clusters late summer into fall. Clumping and colonizing, will naturalize. Can get 3’+ tall. Prefers moist soil that is high in organic matter. Similar blooms to the more familiar Eupatorium, “White Mist”, but the leaves on Late Boneset are elongated and the plant has a more upright growth habit. Perennial.
