(Callicarpa dichotoma ‘Duet’) ‘Duet’ was discovered in 2000 as a branch sport on Callicarpa dichotoma ‘Albifructus.’ Narrow leaves are edged in yellow, which ages to creamy white by late summer. The plants are then adorned with clusters of white fruit, which ring the branches starting in September. Easy to grow in both moist and dry soils–can take quite a bit of sun or partial sun. Too much shade may make it leggy. Deciduous. 3’x3′ or bigger, but easily pruned to size.
