Aquilegia spp.

Bushy, spring blooming perennial with beautiful 2� flowers of various colors. The 5 petal flowers tip upward at the ends of stems. Takes a rest in the heat of the summer and begins growing actively again each winter. Must have shade in the summer but prefers sun in winter, so it�s great near a deciduous tree or shrub. Needs moist, well-drained soil.
