Angela Chandler, The Garden Academy
Texas has a long-time legacy of charming cottage gardens.  They provide constant floral vignettes for the eye to enjoy, cut flowers for the home, and even herbs for the table.  A well-planned and well-planted cottage garden is colorful and full of life and can be very low maintenance and low water use.  It’s the perfect style to get more pleasure out of gardening, especially for those who love beautiful flowers.  A cottage garden can fit any size yard, and even though the style is “informal”, following our tips will let a cottage garden fit into the front yard, and not trigger a letter from the dreaded HOA!
