When I first started working at The Arbor Gate I noticed the two shrubs that were on each side of The Arbor Gate Too. That was March. In November I was amazed at all of the blooms. I asked Beverly the name of the plant, which I do frequently, and she told me Yuletide Camellia. I don’t ever recall seeing a shrub with the blooms these had (I am not counting azaleas).
About this time two years ago, my brother-inlaw’s mother passed away. Donations and flowers are wonderful gestures but I wanted something that would last. The Yuletide was the answer. Since then, I always get a comment from my brother and sister-inlaw how beautiful the Yuletide is at this time of year. It is a great way to remember those special times and people.
