“Debbie Graviss has two great passions; art and animals! (plus chocolate)
Trained as a graphic designer and artist, Debbie specializes in pastel paintings of a rich variety of subject matter ranging from a variety of creatures to still life and floral. Her paintings are defined by vibrant colors, strong graphic compositions and bold strokes. Debbie’s engaging works are noted for capturing the essence, humor and personality of her subject matter, be it an animal or flower.
For many years now, Debbie and her husband, Joe, have generously donated their time, energies and financial support to the Woodford Humane Society in Versailles, Kentucky. Many of the inspiring creatures appearing in her art are actual animals that have been adopted or rescued, including many from her and her husband’s own furry family.
Through her paintings, Debbie shares the beauty, joy and humor she sees in life.
For over twenty years, Debbie and her husband have called Woodford County home and live in the country with a host of merry pets and a plethora of wild life on their own little piece of paradise in Woodford County.
The year 2011 saw Debbie’s sister, Marie, join the team to handle much of the business side of art allowing her more time to create at the easel. In 2012, she expanded her line to include limited edition fine art prints as well as fine wall art.”
