The topic of the March 14, 2019, meeting of the Houston Rose society will be “Rose Rosette Disease – What You Need to Know”. Gaye Hammond will present the program. Gaye is a master rosarian and past president of the Houston Rose Society. Rose Rosette is a disease that has devastated rose gardens in the Dallas-Fort Worth area in recent years. Please join us to learn the scientific facts concerning Rose Rosette Disease, how to recognize it and the areas in Houston where it has been identified. Please note the location for the March meeting has changed. It will be held at the Lott Clubhouse, 6201 Hermann Park Drive, Houston 77030. Come at 7:00 PM for refreshments, the meeting will begin at 7:30 PM. Free admission, www.houstonrose.org
