Experts around the country agree that plants (including roses) perform best in planting beds where the right and best bed preparation measures have been implemented and maintained.  Doing it right is neither complicated, nor expensive but does involve a few things that help make the production of the bed more successful, including having correct irrigation in place.

Our speaker in January is Claude Graves, a Master Rosarian and officer of the Dallas Rose Society.  Claude also serves on the American Rose Center’s garden committee and advises the nation’s rose garden on maintenance of that public garden.  Claude also represents the Chambersville Tree Farm which houses a spectacular display of rambling roses and we look forward to seeing his bed building techniques in action.
