“Bayou Bend: Plants that Shaped Miss Ima’s Garden” is the topic of the Houston Rose Society meeting, Thursday, September 13, 2018, 7:00 PM at the Cherie Flores Garden Pavilion, 1500 Hermann Drive, Houston 77004. The parking lot is Lot C located at Hermann Drive and Crawford Street. Bart Brechter, Curator of Bayou Bend Gardens; Museum of Fine Arts Houston will present the program. Please join us for a look at the plants Miss Ima loved, and how they helped to define her garden. Beautiful roses, azaleas, camellias and iris that adorned the grounds were used to build the story of Bayou Bend. The meeting will begin at 7:30 PM, come at 7:00 PM for social time.
