TEXAS A&M AGRILIFE EXTENSION SERVICE TO HOST
2018 EAST TEXAS TURFGRASS CONFERENCE
TYLER, TEXAS — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will be
hosting The East Texas Turfgrass Conference Thursday, February 1, 2018
from 8:00- 4:00 PM at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension
Center in Overton,Texas. This program is open to Master Gardeners, lawn
care professionals, and anyone else interested in general lawn care.
The topics covered will be: Common Lawn Insects, Choosing a Turfgrass,
Gophers, Moles and Armadillos, Weed ID and Herbicide Use, Pesticide
Safety and Labeling, and How to Stay Happily Married to St Augustine
Featured presenters for the 2018 conference will include: Greg Grant,
Erfan Vafaie, Keith Hansen, Lee Dudly and Clint Perkins.
Registration will begin at 8:00 AM the cost of the program is $35,
payable at the door. 5 hours of TDA CEU credit will be given. Bring
pesticide license information with you to ensure proper credit. Lunch
